COVID-19 Mitigation Efforts*

All Pre-College Programs attendees will be asked to submit a negative test result no more than 72 hours prior to arriving on campus.

When visiting campus, please observe the following guidelines:

  1. General precautions—wash hands, cover coughs and sneezes, avoid touching face, avoid close contact with people who are sick, stay home if you feel sick, etc.
  2. Maintain Social Distancing—avoid close contact (maintain distancing of at least 6 feet) with other individuals.
  3. Wear a mask. Masks are required to be worn when on campus, both indoors and outdoors. In alignment with CDC recommendations, visitors are encouraged to practice double masking by placing a fitted cloth mask over a surgical style mask. No bandanas or homemade/loose fitting masks are permitted. Masks should be fitted to the face and worn over both the mouth and nose.
  4. Upon arrival to campus, you will be asked a series of screening questions. If you answer “yes” to any of these questions, you will be asked to reschedule your visit. Additionally, your temperature may be taken. 1) Do you have a temperature of 100.4 or higher? 2) Are you experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19? (most common symptoms include cough, temperature above 100.4, shortness of breath, new loss of taste or smell) 3) Have you been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, is awaiting a test result, or who is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19?

All high-touch areas in classrooms, labs, and common spaces are routinely disinfected. Signage and markers indicating social distancing guidelines, hand-sanitizing dispensers, and temperature check stations can be found across campus. We appreciate your adherence to these guidelines which help promote the health and safety of our campus community.
